How the ESV is used here
- The ESV is fetched from Crossway only when a family that reads it opens a passage.
- Evenings keep the King James text; the ESV is never saved with them.
- A few hundred verses at most are held for a day, so families reading the same passage share one request.
- Every ESV quotation is marked (ESV); on screen it links to esv.org, and printed or TV copies carry the credit and address.
King James Version
All other Scripture is from the King James Version (Authorized Version), which is in the public domain in the United States.
