Deleting your data

How to have readpraysing delete what it keeps, and what happens when you ask Facebook or Instagram to.

Your family’s account

To delete your account and everything in it, open Account in the app, then Send us a note, and choose Delete account. It happens straight away, and the calendar the app made in your Google Calendar goes too. If you can’t sign in, email jordanddeluco@gmail.com from the address you used and it will be done for you.

Facebook and Instagram

Families never sign in to readpraysing with Facebook or Instagram. Only readpraysing’s own staff connect them, to publish readpraysing’s posts to its own Facebook Page and Instagram account.

If you are the person who connected them, you can remove readpraysing in Facebook’s settings (Settings and privacy → Settings → Apps and websites), or ask Facebook to delete your data. Either way readpraysing deletes the access it was given at once, and Facebook gives you a link back here with a code that shows the request is done. Staff can also disconnect an account in readpraysing’s admin, which deletes its access straight away.

readpraysing collects nothing about the people who see or interact with its posts.
